This removes your account and everything in it, permanently.
In the app — immediate
Open Mood Money.
Tap the settings gear.
Tap Your account at the top, then Delete account.
Confirm.
Your account is deleted from our servers straight away, and the copy on
your phone is erased at the same time.
Can't open the app?
Email [email protected]
with the subject Delete my account and the phone number you
signed in with. To make sure the request is yours, we will text a code to
that number and ask you to send it back. We delete the account within 7 days
of that check and email you when it is done.
Uninstalling the app does not delete your account — it
only removes the copy on your phone. Delete the account first.
What is deleted
Your phone number and account.
Every transaction, mood tag and weekly look-back answer.
Income details, bills and EMIs you added, and category choices.
Nudge history, problem reports and notes.
Names and notes you gave payments, and your notification choices.
Push notification tokens and sign-in records.
What is kept, and for how long
Technical server logs (time, request, IP address — no
transaction details) age out within 30 days.
Backups, if our hosting keeps them, lose the deleted
data within 30 days.
Nothing else is kept. We cannot restore a deleted account.
Delete some data, keep the account
Email us saying what you want removed — for example, everything before a
date — and we will do it after the same check.
